After working as a pattern maker in an apparel company, she moved to the UK and served as a designer assistant and pattern maker at a sustainable brand in London. She returned to Japan in 1997 and launched her own brand “tarizman,” which she ran until 2000.
In 2022, she started NUETAG. While allowing for ease, she skillfully uses straight lines and curves in her patterns, creating clothing that combines a sense of fashion with naturalness.
