Author profile
Nao Kaiguchi
Born in 1979. From the age of 14 she attended dressmaking classes and started making her own clothes.
She entered Bunka Fashion College’s basic engineering course. When she was in school, she obtained a second-level technician for women’s and children’s custom-made clothing. She is in the same manufacturing department and she participated in the Tokyo Skills Competition as a representative of Tokyo.
She graduated from Bunka Fashion College, majoring in engineering. After she graduates, she becomes a teacher at the same school.
After retiring, in April 2010, she launched a tailor-made production and dressmaking class [Vie Coudre], including costumes, and she continues to this day.
