Author profile
Anne Bardsgard
Born in 1966, she studied at the Textile Research Institute of the State Academy of Art and Craft Design in Bergen, Norway, and works as an artist/craftsperson. She has held several solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions both in Norway and abroad. Her works have been acquired by several institutions, including the Norwegian Museum of Art, Industry, and Culture, the Cultural Council, the Royal Hospital, and the Public Building Art Fund. Raised in Selbu and Trondheim, she currently resides in Klæbu.

In addition to translations related to knitting, she creates knitting works, participates in events, and conducts workshops, mainly in Sapporo. Based on her own experience of struggling with handicrafts, she occasionally holds classes where beginners can enjoy knitting.
