Born in 1949. Born in Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture. After graduating from Joshibi University Junior College, she has been working as a freelance designer and patterner since 1971. In 2001, she presided over a sewing class at the same time she launched her own atelier. She is active in various fields such as producing sewing books, seminars, and producing sewing machines and sewing goods.
