Born in Aomori in 1954. After working as a secondhand store owner and as an assistant at a special support class, in 2003, she launched a casual clothing label for adults, “CHICU + CHICU 5/31.”

Currently, the gallery & shop “Yamanaka Soko..” is opened irregularly in Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture, and exhibitions are held at shops nationwide.
