Author profile
Fumiko Takano
Manga artist and illustrator. She is from Niigata prefecture. While working as a nurse, she made her commercial magazine debut in 1979 with “Absolute Safety Sword” published in “JUNE”. Her unique style attracted attention, and along with Katsuhiro Otomo and Noma Sabea, she was regarded as the flag bearer of the “new wave” in the manga world.
