Born in Tokyo in 1968. She is a painter and picture book author.
She graduated from Musashino Art University Junior College. Her picture book works include “Urashima Taro” (Akane Shobo), “Match Urino Shojo” (Froebel-kan), ghost story picture book “I’m there, he’s not there” and “Azuki Togi” (both Iwasaki Shoten). and so on.

Her picture books featuring cats include “Nekozume no Yoru” (Iwasaki Shoten), “A Cat Without a Name” (Komine Shoten), “Neko to Neko” (Kogumasha), and “Neko wa rusuban” (Holpu Publishing). She continues to draw picture books that are loved by many readers.
