This is the third volume in the series, following “YUZURU” after the 2014 Sochi Olympics and “YUZURU II” after the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics. This book brings back the excitement of Yuzuru Hanyu’s many competitions and his indomitable spirit, including his attempt at the quadruple axel at the Beijing Olympics.
The book covers four years from the 2018-2019 season after the PyeongChang Olympics to the 2022 Beijing Olympics, “Determination Press Conference” and “SharePractice”.
In addition to competition photos, the book covers exhibitions, ice shows, and during practice.
It includes various images such as serious eyes during practice, confident expressions during competitions, and relieved smiles after competitions.
The photographs are composed by Sunao Noto, who has worked on the previous “YUZURU” series. He is a photographer from Sendai, the same city as Yuzuru Hanyu, and has been following Hanyu since he was a boy. The book also includes a number of relaxed candid shots that only Mr. Noto can show.
A special poster (W:390mm x H:574mm) is included as a bonus.
