The 4500 pieces “disappeared street corners” of Tokyo that Mineo Kato continued to shoot are edited for each ward of Tokyo. Volume 1 of the series. The author’s first double-tone printing has reproduced beautifully in rich shades.
The classification map used at the time of shooting and the Toden system map (1963 version) are also posted.

Born in Tokyo in 1929. While he worked for a publishing company, he strolled around Tokyo and wrote reportage on newspapers. He died in 2004.
