Photographer Mark Nixon took pictures of his treasured stuffed animals and their owners in his studio and posted them on his website, which received more than 4.5 million hits in three months. This book is a collection of those photos.

The book is a collection of photos of Bono of U2, Mr. Bean’s bear, and other stuffed animals that have been with him for decades since he was a child and have received the weight of his love.

With eyes and noses missing and arms sewn together with frayed ends, these bears and rabbits remind us of our own childhoods.

This book has been in the news and on blogs from China to Peru, Iceland to Argentina, the United States to Russia, and all over Europe.
