Photographer Yu Yamauchi spent nine years on Yakushima, spending nearly a month alone in the woods, recording his dialogue with nature.
Yu Yamauchi is a photographer who spends long periods of time in nature, exploring the fundamental nature of the world from the relationship between nature and humans. Yamauchi spent 600 days in a mountain hut on the 7th station of Mt. Fuji, photographing the rising sun above the clouds. A goal reached through “planets” focused on structure.
A real fantasy of the earth that visualizes the relationship with nature by reflecting the inner world in the forest.
