Ghibli Museum Photobook “Ghibli Museum Story”

This is the first official photo book of the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka. It contains a wealth of photos of Totoro’s reception desk, the big cat bus, the robot soldiers, and of course, the museum’s interior, which normally cannot be photographed.

The theme of the book is “the perspective of a child that adults have forgotten”.
It is “another face of the Ghibli Museum,” which is hard to find unless you return to your childhood and crouch down or peek into the museum.

At the end of the book is a commentary by Kiyofumi Nakajima, former director of the Ghibli Museum and president of Studio Ghibli Inc.
This book is a must-read for all Ghibli fans, including unknown episodes with director Hayao Miyazaki and behind-the-scenes stories about the museum.
