Animal photographer Mitsuaki Iwago spent over a year shooting the cats in Kyoto. We will develop Kyoto as seen through a cat in four chapters: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
When I was shooting a cat that lives in the climate of Kyoto, I suddenly realized that this city, which I thought was a high threshold, was comfortable. Their way of life brings to life the culture of the ancient city. That’s right, “Kyoto’s cat”, which was guided by a cat. -Mitsuaki Iwago
