FUJIKO F. FUJIO

His real name is Hiroshi Fujimoto.
Born December 1, 1933 in Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.
In 1951, he made his debut as a manga artist with “Tenshi no Tama-chan”. In 1954, he moved to Tokyo with his elementary school classmate Motoo Abiko and started working as “Fujiko Fujio” in earnest.
In 1987, he resolved the duo and continued writing activities centered on “Doraemon Long Stories” as “Fujiko F. Fujio”, building a new era of children’s manga.
His main works include “Obake no Q-Taro (co-authored)”, “Doraemon”, “Perman”, “Kiteretsu Daihyakka”, and “SF Short” series.
