This book is a collection of the title story (5 stories) published in Futabasha’s “Manga Action” magazine from 1977 to 1978, when Katsuhiro Otomo was 23-24 years old, and 8 short manga published before and after that.
The short stories include three from “Highway Star” (1979, Futabasha), four including the two title stories from “GOOD WEATHER” (1981, Kitan-sha), and one from “Memories of her…” (1990, Kodansha).
The color pages have been reproduced as they were when first published, and the author’s own commentary is included in this complete edition!

Author profile
Katsuhiro Otomo
Manga artist / movie director. Born in Miyagi prefecture.
Debuted in 1973 with “Manga Action”. His masterpieces include “Domu” and “AKIRA”.
In 1988, his own animated film “AKIRA” received high praise outside Japan and became the forerunner of the Japanese animation movement (Japanimation) overseas.
In 2013, he received the Medal with Purple Ribbon from the Japanese government. In 2014, the French government gave the Order of Arts and Culture Offiche.
In 2015, the 42nd Angouleme International Cartoon Festival Grand Prize (France).
