Known for works such as “Town of Evening Calm, Country of Cherry Blossoms” (Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize New Artist Prize, Japan Media Arts Festival Grand Prize in Manga Division) and “In This Corner of the World” (Excellence Prize in Manga Division, Japan Media Arts Festival), this anthology celebrates 30 years of manga artist Fumiyo Kouno’s career, compiling her original drawings and manuscripts from debut to the present.

Featuring over 140 pages in color, it includes “Machikado Hanadayori,” “Nagai Michi,” “Kokko-san,” “Kappa no Neneko,” “Ballpen Kojiki,” and more.
Also includes a long-form interview, the first comprehensive timeline of her career, detailed work commentary, and a bibliography. This book traces Fumiyo Kouno’s 30-year journey as a manga artist through artwork, manga, and rich textual content.
