From 2017 to 2019, AKIRA collage works were posted on the temporary enclosure wall being rebuilt in Shibuya Parco and attracted a lot of attention. All of them are recorded in 3 bellows binding books by series.

The fourth volume contains photographs by TAKAMURA DAISUKE who recorded this project, and independent interviews and dialogues with Katsuhiro Otomo and Kosuke Kawamura. ※it’s Japanese

Katsuhiro Otomo

Manga artist / movie director. Born in Miyagi prefecture.
Debuted in 1973 with “Manga Action”. His masterpieces include “Domu” and “AKIRA”.
In 1988, his own animated film “AKIRA” received high praise outside Japan and became the forerunner of the Japanese animation movement (Japanimation) overseas.
In 2013, he received the Medal with Purple Ribbon from the Japanese government. In 2014, the French government gave the Order of Arts and Culture Offiche.
In 2015, the 42nd Angouleme International Cartoon Festival Grand Prize (France).
