Manga artist, born on October 3, 1956, in Tokyo. She made her debut in the April issue of Bessatsu Margaret (Shueisha) in 1973. Since her debut, she has been drawing the struggles and growth of working women across various genres, receiving enthusiastic support from women of the same generation. She is also energetically active as an essayist.
