Author profile
Takao Watanabe
He has loved drawing since he was young, and his enthusiasm continued, leading him to decide, “I want to work in drawing in the future!” After graduating from high school, he attended an animation school and worked at an animation background production company, then switched to the consumer game industry where he studied drawing through design work focused on fantasy worlds.
He then joined the current company, DeNA Co., Ltd., where he continues to work on 2D design in game development. In his spare time, he draws using analog techniques and shares his work on Twitter.
He also holds solo exhibitions in Harajuku, Tokyo, sells his original goods “Takao Inga,” and continues to draw various fantasy worlds on small pieces of paper, featuring his original character “Kokedama-chan” as a motif.
