Taiyo Matsumoto

Born October 25, 1967. A manga artist from Tokyo. He dropped out of Wako University’s Faculty of Letters, Department of Art.

He debuted in 1987. His representative works include “Hanaotoko”, “Tekkon kinkreet”, “Ping Pong”, “Number Five Go”, and “sunny”.

His work has been adapted into films such as the movie “Ping Pong”, the movie “Aoi Haru”, the animated movie “Tekkonkinkreet”, and the anime “Ping Pong THE ANIMATION”.
