The first collection book of works by Shinsaku Fujita, an illustrator who has drawn many covers for mystery novels in Japan and abroad, including Stephen King and Miyabe Miyuki.
Shinsaku Fujita has been active since the 1980s and has illustrated the covers of more than 1,000 novels to date. This book carefully selects some of his most representative works from among them, and presents them in a large format (280mm long, 210mm wide) that allows the reader to appreciate them carefully.

Shinsaku Fujita
Born in Shizuoka Prefecture in 1956, after graduating from Musashino Art University, Department of Visual Communication Design in 1980, worked as a freelance illustrator.
In 1989, he was in charge of the design of Stephen King such as Fusosha Publishing and Shinchosha Publishing, starting with Stephen King’s “Pet Sematary” (Bungei Shunjusha).
He has also worked on a series of modern horror series such as Dean Koontz and McCammon, overseas works such as “The Minds of Billy Milligan” by Daniel Keyes, and the design of domestic artists such as Miyuki Miyabe and Fuyumi Ono. There are about a thousand books in total.
His recent masterpieces include Ranpo Edogawa’s “Shonen Detective Series” in 26 volumes and Maurice Leblanc’s “Arsène Lupine Series” in 20 volumes (Poplar Publishing).
