Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Designer’s Note

This book is a definitive 500-page design collection that comprehensively gathers 3D setting drafts of Shinkalion and enemy “giant monsters” from the “SHINKALION” series, which are attractively depicted through 3DCG battle scenes.

For the creation of this book, SMDE, responsible for the Shinkalion CG part, was requested to render new 3D setting images for printing. You can enjoy Shinkalions meticulously designed in unprecedented high resolution and detail.

Each SHINKALION is thoroughly introduced with its main armaments and three-view diagrams. The book also extensively covers Shinkalion’s vehicle forms, Zairainers, and the diverse designs of enemy giant monsters that adorned the story, making it an ultimate setting material collection unlike any other.

As for rare units, it includes “500 TYPE EVA,” the aerial exploration machine “Hayabusa,” the Shinkalion “700S Kamome” which did not appear in the TV series, and the Zairainer “883 Sonic Nichirin.”
