A video planning notebook that collects Shinji Higuchi’s idea sketches drawn when producing special effects such as “Shin Ultraman”, “Shin Godzilla”, “Giant Warrior Appears in Tokyo”, “Attack on Titan”, and “Journey to the West”.

The inspiration drawn in the notebook that I always carry around, the search and verification for visualization, and the image painting are sometimes visualized as they are, and sometimes they end without being filmed. Commentary on film-sized drawings and sketches drawn to share the image in the head with the staff, and an interview of more than 16,000 characters.

This is my new favorite art book. Simple, loose illustrations (storyboards) jam packed into a small (but thick) book. Really exciting to see the thought process of an amazing visionary.
