Renowned for creating some of Japan’s finest animation backgrounds, Kusamori worked on films such as “GHOST IN THE SHELL 2: Innocence”, “Metropolis”, “X”, and the “PSYCHO-PASS” series. His landscapes were not mere reproductions of real-world cities or nature but were imagined vistas crafted to build immersive sci-fi and fantasy worlds. With unparalleled realism, he has brought fictional worlds to life.

In addition to his extensive animation background work, this collection includes novel cover illustrations and newly drawn original pieces.
