Author profile
Kato Soichiro
Born in 1992 in Hokkaido. He began learning to draw in junior high school, inspired by his aspiration to become a manga artist.
Currently working as an illustrator, he creates cover art for books such as “Elephant Head” (KADOKAWA) and “Please Don’t Disappear” (Kawade Shobo Shinsha), as well as artwork for music projects, while also holding solo exhibitions and participating in art shows.
His work mainly focuses on depicting people. When creating his pieces, he values the first impression felt by both the artist and the viewer, aiming for the infinite imaginations and emotions that unfold from that impression to serve as a catalyst for new realizations.
