This book is for those who want to try drawing with digital tools and want to express delicate colors. It teaches how to create beautiful colors even for beginners by leveraging the unique strengths of digital tools.
The author, Gokinjo Hiro Nagasuna, has worked on color scripts and concept art for numerous animation works.
The key points are:
1. Separating the elements of inherent color, light, and shadow into different layers for drawing
2. Expressing beautiful gradients using the masking function
3. Allowing for adjustments to the colors decided upon at a later stage
By finely sketching things found in daily life such as fruits like lemons and grapes, food, and flowers, even those who have never been able to draw with colors will be able to do so using the methods in this book.

Luca D. –
A must for beginner and intermediate artists looking to get into digital illustration.
The japanese used in this book is, so far, not too complicated, so intermediate readers should be okay.
Also make sure to check the downloadable content, as it goes pretty in-depth, such as video tutorials of the lessons explained in the book!
