Yukichi Shimarisu

Manga artist. Graduated from the Japanese Painting Department of Tokyo University of the Arts. Made their manga debut with “Gaiku,” released on April 29, 2019, on Shueisha’s “Shonen Jump+” platform. In the same year, released “Locker Room” on “Shonen Jump+,” which was later adapted into a live-action drama under the title “Coin Laundry.” In 2020, the drama aired as part of “Yo nimo Kimyō na Monogatari ’20 Autumn Special Edition” on November 14, gaining attention. That same year, the one-shot “SAKAMOTO – Sakamoto -” was published in Shueisha’s “Jump GIGA” 2020 WINTER. Following its positive reception, the serialization of “SAKAMOTO DAYS” began in issue 51 of “Weekly Shonen Jump.” It became a popular series, ranking 6th in the “Recommended Comics Selected by Nationwide Bookstore Employees 2022” and was adapted into a TV anime in 2025.
