Hiroshi Manabe
Born in 1932, died in 2000. Born in Niihama City, Ehime Prefecture.
Graduated from Tama Art University Oil Painting Department. Member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Club of Japan. Known as an illustrator for his unique, sharp and delicate style of painting, he has worked on many illustrations and bindings for science fiction novels.
In addition, he has a deep knowledge of science fiction and futurology, and has been active in a wide range of fields such as criticizing civilization on television, newspapers and magazines, writing activities, participating in the Japan World Exposition, Okinawa International Ocean Expo, Science Expo, and advocating bicology.
