Hidetaka Tenjin
Born in Hyogo Prefecture. Representative of Studio Tenjin Co., Ltd. Member of the Space Writer’s Club. While primarily an illustrator, he also works under a pseudonym as a narrator. He is active as a designer and art director. He produces illustrations mainly for the box art of Gundam and Macross plastic models. He is deeply involved in animation production, handling everything from mechanical design to special effects and direction.
He began drawing box art for Hasegawa’s Macross variable fighter series models, and though specialized in aviation illustrations, he has also been working on robot-themed box art such as the Gundam series from the same year. He excels in realistic and detailed mechanical depictions but is also prolific in character drawings.
