Illustrator Eizin Suzuki, active since the 1980s, draws motifs related to cars, architectural landscapes, and music in a pop expression style.
Recently, with the revival boom of the ’80s culture, Japanese pop music from this era, known as “City Pop,” has gained popularity both domestically and internationally. EIZIN’s works, which have graced the covers of FM magazines and many music jackets, are once again in the spotlight as icons of the era.
This book selects works that evoke the “good old days,” featuring old townscapes, seaside resorts, and classic cars loved by him, from all periods.
A wide, horizontal format has been adopted for the book, allowing for an unobstructed view of the expansive landscape works.
