Honami Enya’s first art collection, which gained attention with the “Illustration of Sento (public bath) by Honami Enya,” featured in many media outlets.
This book widely showcases a series of works depicting sento and bathing facilities across Japan, as well as illustrations of restaurants, offices, entertainment facilities, and a series of famous buildings visited and drawn by Enya. Enya measures the buildings and facilities and uses an architectural drawing method called isometric to depict the spaces three-dimensionally. The book also explains this technique. Furthermore, the illustrations not only depict the interiors but also include subtle stories of the people within, adding to the charm of the works.
