The first self-selected art collection by animator Yukiko Horiguchi (“K-ON!,” “Tamako Market,” “22/7”), released under the pseudonym “Shiromizakana.”
This collection primarily features watercolor (colored ink) illustrations, including magazine covers, novel covers, pin-ups, collaboration works, and original pieces. It also contains valuable works from her student days, created before becoming an animator.
The book’s layout and the comments accompanying the illustrations are also by dochibibi, highlighting cherished analog works.

She made her debut in 2007 with the cover art for “Beyond the Door” (Dengeki Bunko). She has published illustrations in magazines and worked on illustrations for paperbacks such as the “Colosseum” (Dengeki Bunko) and “Kokoro Connect” (Famitsu Bunko) series. She also designed the covers for the magazine “Comic Yuri Hime” (Ichijinsha) and the novel “If Only I Were Alive” (Bungeisha Bunko NEO). Shirabii is the name she uses for her illustration work, and she is known for her work as an animator, including on anime such as “Lucky☆Star,” “K-On!,” “Tamako Market,” and “22/7 (Nanabun no Nijyuuni).”
