Nobuyuki Senzoku
Born in Tokyo in 1940. An art historian. Emeritus Professor at Seijo University. Director of the Hiroshima Prefectural Museum of Art. Graduated from the Faculty of Letters at the University of Tokyo. Worked at TBS (Tokyo Broadcasting System) before joining the National Museum of Western Art. From 1970 to 1972, studied mainly German Renaissance art at the University of Munich as a government-sponsored student of West Germany (at the time). After returning to Japan, served as the Chief Curator of Western Art and as a professor in the Faculty of Literature at Seijo University, supervising numerous exhibitions.
