A color pattern collection featuring 1000 beautiful color schemes extracted from photos of Japanese nature and traditional colors.
While the long-seller “Color Pattern Book: 1000 Beautiful Color Schemes from Photos” featured European color schemes, this sequel focuses on color schemes centered around Japanese nature and traditional colors.
In the first half, color patterns themed on seasons and nature are introduced, including photos and color schemes that evoke seasons such as the vernal equinox and fresh greenery. In the latter half, 30 traditional Japanese colors are introduced in order of hue.
The book is structured so that color patterns can be searched by color. Following the previous work, the author, who has extensive experience in creating color scheme books, handles the color patterns and design.
This book is a compilation of beautiful color patterns unique to designers.
