Costume designer Satomi Ito marks the 10th anniversary of her work in figure skating costumes with the publication of a postcard book.

This edition exclusively collects costumes made for Yuzuru Hanyu, the skater she has designed for the most over these ten years, featuring newly taken photos of the costumes and design sketches.

Featuring 13 costumes created between 2020 and 2023, including famous programs from the Beijing Olympics “Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso” and “Heaven and Earth,” performances from the solo ice show “Prologue” such as “Spoils” and “Change,” and history-making Tokyo Dome show “GIFT” featuring “Ashura-chan,” “The Firebird,” and “To That Summer.” The book is bound with removable adhesive.

All the costume photos are taken by Ito herself. They include close-ups of decorations and embroideries not visible from the audience or on TV, highlighting details that the creator wants fans to notice.
