This book includes various floral designs for kimono, obi, and cloth selected by Ranko Nagata, owner of LUNCO, a popular antique kimono store in Mejiro.

From the Meiji period to the beginning of the Showa period, Japanese textiles established outstanding and delicate dyeing and weaving techniques, and a variety of designs were created to compete with each other.

Owner of “Cloth and Toy LUNCO” in Mejiro, Tokyo. From an early age, she liked to make things, and became absorbed in painting and making glass. When she went to an antique market to look for hints for glass making, she came across a piece of old cloth and was fascinated by it.
