Author profile
YOCA MUTA
Based on the technique of coloring ceramics, she creates a wide range of works, from everyday tableware and tea utensils to fine arts and crafts.
Based on the idea of modern nature consciousness, she reconstructs animals and plants, divine beasts, classical designs, etc. and creates overglaze porcelain.
In recent years, she has produced a series of overglaze paintings depicting her personal experiences and emotional movements, and a series of furnishings with pet animals as motifs that contain disturbing feelings. Her goal is to create an artist activity that mutually communicates between the aesthetics of books, crafts, and art.
Set up a workshop and residence in Nomi City, Ishikawa Prefecture.
