Samiro Yuki, a dyer, continues to make works even at the age of 98, and many exhibitions are being held.
Not only the figure of himself and his work, but also the scenery of his solo exhibition in France when he was 94 years old is posted.

Samiro Yunoki
Dyeing artist / artist. Born in Tokyo in 1922. In 1942, he entered the Department of Aesthetics and Art History, Faculty of Letters, Tokyo Imperial University. In 1946, he worked at the Ohara Museum of Art in Okayama Prefecture, met Soetsu Yanagi’s “Mingei”, and studied under Keisuke Serizawa to become a dyer. She was a professor at Joshibi University of Art and Design in 1972 and president since 1987. In addition to dyeing, she produces and presents various works such as prints, dolls, and picture books. She holds exhibitions at public museums in Japan as well as at the Guimet Oriental Museum in France.
