Takayuki Takeya
sculptor. Born December 10, 1963. Born in Shakotan, Hokkaido. He graduated from Asagaya Art College. After joining Model Art, he worked on character design, arrangement, and modeling for videos, exhibitions, games, and toys.
Created models of giant god soldiers in “Kyojinhei Appears in Tokyo” (2012), character design in the movie “Shin Godzilla” (2016), and supervised model production and modeling for “Ghibli Exposition: World of Omushi”. . At the “Animage and Ghibli Exhibition”, he created “Kazetsukai no Fukai Costume”.
He is in charge of planning and design arrangements for the Takeya-style Jizai Okimono series such as “Hebikara”, “Omushi”, “Daio Yanma”, and “Torumekian Armored Soldiers”.

This book is filled with incredible behind the scenes imagery from the Nausicaa show in Japan. Wonderful sculpts and concept art on every page. If you’re a fan of Takeya Takayuki or Nausicaa, then this is a must for your collection.
