The first domestic collection of works by sculptor Yoshitoshi Kanemaki, who creates unique works inspired by the multi-faceted multi-armed (tamentahi) of Buddhist sculpture.
In addition to arranging multiple cuts from early works to representative works, we will approach the whole picture of Kanamaki’s work from multiple perspectives such as drawings, multiples, production records, 50 questions and 50 answers, and personal chronology.

Yoshitoshi Kanemaki
He is a sculptor, born in 1972 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan. He graduated from the Sculpture Department of Tama Art University in 1999. In 2012, he was awarded the New Work Excellence Award by the Sompo Japan Art Foundation.
His work is not only popular in Japan, but also greatly admired in Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, the United States, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. His designs have been frequently selected for book covers.
