An introductory book to learn about Felice Rix-Ueno, a designer who was born in Vienna at the end of the 19th century and came to Kyoto in 1926. This book introduces Lizzi’s fantastic design work, including wallpaper, wall decorations, textiles, cloisonné, and accessories.

Based in two cities, Vienna and Kyoto, Ueno Lizzi Rix (Felice Rix-Ueno) created designs full of vitality. In addition to the numerous design works created by Lizzi, this book includes creative essays by women who have carved out their own worlds of expression in the worlds of art, fiction, and design, revealing Lizzi’s appeal from a variety of perspectives.
