Hiroshi Tagawa
Real figure painter.
Born in Miyazaki Prefecture in 1959. After graduating from Midorigaoka High School (art) attached to the Oita Prefectural College of Arts, he entered the Department of Painting (foreign painting) at Nagoya University of Arts. He aspires to be a plane artist.
From 1988 to 1993, he won the Chunichiten “Grand Prize” and “Honorable Mention” (Nagoya City Museum).
In 1995, he met a real figure modeled by Hiroki Hayashi, and in 1996, he started painting her first real female figure.
In 2011, he started her activities with the aim of becoming a full-fledged figure painter. He has held many solo exhibitions and has many fans in foreign countries.
