Hiroko Morita
She is known as “mori’s picture book” and works as a miniature stuffed animal artist. She became interested in teddy bears while living in the UK. After returning to Japan, she began making miniature stuffed animals on her own in 2013, once her child-rearing settled down. She uses hand-dyed and vintage fabrics, and makes her own glass eyes, creating works with a distinctive atmosphere that attract many fans. She participates in various events, such as the Tokyo Dollhouse Miniature Show. Collaborations with miniature artists and illustrators are also popular.
