Yuki Koyano, a next-generation artist bridging Japanese painting and contemporary art, presents his first collection of paintings.
Themes familiar in Japanese painting such as Fujin Raijin (Wind God and Thunder God) and Mount Fuji, yet they are presented with vivid colors that leap to the eye. At the same time, one notices the small, cute characters that make up the picture. These tiny beings, as small as a fingertip, form a tableau, creating whirlpools in the universe or rowing boats in great waves.
