The first art collection of oil painter Miho Hirano, featuring works from 2009 to her latest creations.
The book traces her artistic journey, depicting creatures of the natural world in a decorative style, themed around the beauty of nature and the four seasons, and rendering flowing water with a soft touch.
In addition to 101 works, the book includes a Q&A section covering her early childhood when she started painting, her encounter with oil painting in high school, and events that were turning points in her career as a painter.

One of the most beautiful books I’ve ever purchased! The art is stunning! I’ve been a fan of this artist for years and am so happy to be able to add her work to my collection since I live in Australia and can’t go to her exhibitions. Every single illustration is so detailed and beautifully drawn; this is by far my favourite purchase from here. Overall an amazing book!

I am just now discovering Miho Hirano’s work and I am ANGRY I haven’t discovered it sooner!! I bought this for a friend, and upon receiving it, contemplated stealing it for myself because of how gorgeous the art and print quality is. Whether she paints male or female portraits, she always portrays them in a supple and delicate femininity that makes you appreciate the beauty of nature and humanity. It’s surrealism-like qualities make you feel spiritual. No text, just a showcase of raw skill and the love of her craft. I recommend to anyone who loves ethereal Alphonse Mucha-esque oil portraits of women, with a vibrant yet somehow muted color palette.
Shipping was surprisingly fast (within 5 days in the U.S.), customer service is excellent and attentive, and my experience from this shop is 6/5 stars.
