Ryo Shiotani is a leading young realistic painter.
The long-awaited first collection of works by the artist, who produces only a dozen or so works a year due to his detailed depictions.
Shiny skin, smooth hair, melancholy eyes, soft fabrics, fresh petals, and serene landscapes …
Shiotani paints not faithful reproductions, but rather the atmosphere created by the subjects she depicts. The world depicted with a sure touch of the brush and transparent colors is delicate and beautiful.
