It conveys his charm and artistic career along with the essays of Shiro Uezono, a leading researcher on Chikkyo Ono.
Starting with a general discussion, the book includes 13 essays that convey Chikkyo’s artistic career from various perspectives, with commentary on all works. (In Japanese)

Author profile
Shiro Uezono
Art historian. PhD in Literature. Born in Kagoshima in 1956. He has worked as a curator at the Kasayaka City Takehisa Yumeji Museum and has been the director since 2008 and an advisor from 2020 to 2022. Major exhibitions he has been in charge of include the “Everything about Takehisa Yumeji” exhibition, the “Tsuchida Bakusen” exhibition, and the “History of the Kokuga Sosaku Kyokai” exhibition. His publications include “The Complete Works of the Kokuga Sosaku Kyokai” (co-authored) and “The Great Achievement of Ono Chikkyo” (editor in charge).
