A collection of the latest works by Riusuke Fukahori, goldfish painter, covering his representative & latest works, mainly 3D paintings that have fascinated the world. In this book, his large-scale work ” The Ark”, which was critically acclaimed at his solo exhibition in New York at the end of 2015, is exhibited in Japan for the first time!

Since the start of his career in 2000, Ryusuke Fukahori has been pouring transparent resin into containers and painting goldfish in multiple layers, attracting fans with his amazingly three-dimensional, dynamic, and life-like paintings that have won art contest awards, been featured in the media, and held solo exhibitions in Japan and abroad.

His Youtube videos have received over 3 million views, and he has many fans among world-renowned celebrities such as Momoko Sakura and Mark Parker (CEO of Nike Inc.).

Resides in Kanagawa prefecture

1973 Born in Aichi Prefecture. As a child, he grew up watching goldfish in Yatomi City.
In 1995, she graduated from Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Design and Crafts.
2002 Invented a technique of pouring resin into a vessel and drawing a goldfish with paint. -Birth of 2.5D painting representative work “Kingyoshu”.
2007 Opened the atelier “Goldfish Farm” in Yokohama.
In 2018, he held his first solo exhibition at a public art museum (Hiratsuka City Art Museum, Kariya City Art Museum). The number of visitors exceeded 100,000 at the two venues.
