Graduated in 1994 from the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tama Art University, majoring in Painting
Received the 34th Showa-kai Exhibition Nichido Fire Prize in 1999
Studied in Spain in 2001 as a trainee dispatched by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, attended Academia Artium Pena
Attended Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) in 2002
Awarded First Place Honorable Mention in the 7th Kanji Maeda Grand Prize in 2007
Currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Arts, Hiroshima City University, and a Furusato Ambassador for Kosai City, Shizuoka Prefecture
