Isamu Yoneyama

An architectural historian. Born in Tokyo in 1965. After completing the doctoral program at Waseda University’s Graduate School of Science and Engineering, he worked as a special researcher at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, a part-time lecturer at Waseda University Graduate School, and a part-time lecturer at Japan Women’s University. Currently, he is a researcher at the Edo-Tokyo Museum. Holds a Ph.D. in Engineering. Specializes in the history of modern and contemporary Japanese architecture and the architectural and urban history of Edo-Tokyo. He is also a director of the Japan Sento Culture Association.
